Bay Area College of Nursing (BACN) provides education and training for those pursuing a career in the nursing field. Nursing is a field whose challenges are only exceeded by its rewards. As new nurses, you will be on the front lines of patient care, performing the essential tasks without which that care cannot succeed. Your contact with patients will often be the closest and most frequent of any of the providers that patients deal with, not only in acute care, but also in the expanding field of preventive care. You will experience all the joy, sorrow, anxiety, laughter, frustration, and elation that are integral to the caring vocation. Your work, if you are doing it well, will engage not only your mind and your hands, but your heart. Bay Area College of Nursing will give you the tools and training you will need to go out into that calling.
