Founded in 2004, Bay Area College of Nursing is committed to excellence in healthcare training. The school offers several programs and a strong community to provide a learning environment which promotes the development of each student’s intellect, nursing skills, and social values.

Bay Area College of Nursing has accreditation (Daly City expires April 2012) and provisional accreditation (Palo Alto expires November 2013)  by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.  The school is approved to operate by the California Department of Public Health and the Bureau for Private Post Secondary Education (BPPE). BACN is also provisionally approved as a Degree-Granting Institution by the Bureau for Private Post Secondary Education (BPPE).

1B WIA (Workforce Investment Act) ETPL (Eligible Training Provider List)
We are an approved Training Provider eligible to receive WIA Title I-B funds. The purpose of the ETPL is to provide customer-focused employment training for low income youth, adults and dislocated workers.
